Vocational Training

The organization is providing special vocational education for blind. The craft education is compulsory from class 1st to 8th standard. The vocational education includes of canning of chairs & many more. The training provides students enough opportunities to become self-supporting for their life.

Computer Education

The organization has recently established a computer lab with the help of respected Mr. Mohan Kumar (A.G.M.) from State Bank of India, Lucknow having 1 computer system & 1 More computer system is also provide by Dr. (Col) Binod Kumar Shrma VSM, CMO, United Nation Support Office for AMISON (UNSOA), Nairobi, (Kenya) with all latest hardware & software useful for blind students. Computer basic course are taken by trained teacher & are compulsory for all the students from class 6th to 8th the organization is also provide a certificate for students.

Yoga & Spiritual Classes

The organization has recently started Yoga Classes in our school for blind children time to time in the school campus to keep the students physically fit. We are also providing a various lectures are organized at frequent interval by famous Saints & Spiritual teachers of different religion to give them moral education and to teach them the importance of relationship of mind, Soul and body. Suck lectures are also very helpful to improve the moral character of students and to keep them away from the bad habits like smoking and drinking, tobacco eating etc. to improve the mental strength of students conducted from time to time.

Music Education

The music subject is also compulsory for class 1st to 8th under which the training is given for all instruments like Harmonium, Tabla, Drum, Dholak and Piano etc. by trained music teachers. The school is having its use to perform special programmes on the event of Republic Day, Independence Day, Gandhi &ShastriJanyanti, official function like Annual Seminar, Braille Day, World Disabled Day, Donors visit to school and on outstanding cultural programme at State & District level.

Library Facilities

There is one big library in the school containing more than 1000 braille books of all types including text books of course material, competitive exam books, fiction/novels, story books, holy books like Ramayana, Geeta etc. and other various reference books for class 1st to 8th useful for blind students and teachers for their updation of current affaires 7 general knowledge.

Loading & Boarding Facilities

The loading and Boarding facility is provided free of cost to all blind students. The schedule of loading and boarding Morning Tea with Breakfast, Lunch and the afternoon tea/fruits and dinner is served daily to all students and other leaving staff to more than 40 at a time. The organization provides to every week special diet is also served.

Mess Facilities

The organization is having latest kitchen and pantry having all modern facility for cooking like floor Mill, Refrigerators, Water Cooler with R.O. & UV filter Machine etc. There is separate dining hall for boys having sufficient dining table and chairs to serve them.

Hostel Facilities

The organization is providing hostel for specially leaving in rural areas poor blind children in the school campus. The hostel facility is provided free of cost for all blind students. One warden is working full time to take care of blind students. All the rooms are equipped with three bed sheets with mattresses and pillows, separate Iron Boxes etc.

Free Medical Check-up Facilities

The organization is organized Two type Medical Check-up facilities time to time in school campus. Normal Medical check-up at frequent intervals with the assistance of local Hospitals & clinics free of cost to keep the students medically fit and healthy. Medicines are also provide to blind children as per needs for free of cost.

Secondly we are organizing an Eye Check-up in also renowned ABHINAV DRISHTI HOSPITAL by Dr.Hemant Kumar &Dr.Lalita Kumar at regular period. Even eye operations of some blind students are also done where ever possible. Last Year 2013-14 we are operate & provide free medical treatment, 3 blind students with contributed by Lions Club Lucknow Oudh and team members & 1 more blind child by our donor Mr.Gopalji Nigam (C.A.).
