The Lucknow Blind School

Late HariharSahaiSrivastav (Guru Ji), had foundedLUCKNOW BLIND SCHOOL Managed by ShradhaSevarth Organization on 02October 2002 in Lucknow.

LUCKNOW BLIND SCHOOL (A residential school for the visually impaired) Managed by ShradhaSevarth.The school was started on 02nd October 2002 by Late HariharSahaiSrivastav(Guru ji)Founder with only 3 blind students the number of which has gone to 30 at Present. It's an educational charitable organization working for rehabilitation of blind students since year of 2002 by providing education, books, stationary, dress, daily using items with loading & boarding facility free of cost for blind children's. The organization is registered with the state government of uttarpradesh under Society Registration Act, 21, 1860 vide registration no.:2143 and the empowerment of person with disability act, 52 of 1995 vide registration no.:5199. The management of the School is being carried out by the ShradhaSevarthorganization's committee. The curriculum of the school is student-friendly and which provides a barrier free environment to all. The school has a separate vocational unit for visually impaired children. Vocational Training Centre is working in an integrated situation where both non-disabled and disabled children undergo training. The main objective is to ensure financial independence for person with the disabilities there by increasing their self-esteem and making them confident adults capable to facing the world.
